Chinatown

Chinatown is a busy place not particularly on the tourist radar to stay at. It’s full of street-side restaurants, precious stones and metals dealers. In the evening the streets come alive with neon and people looking for some good Chinese food. The best area to stay is on the east side where you are close to the Hua Lamphong MRT station as well as the river. The East side is home to Little India if you a craving a good Indian curry there are no shortage of options. Wat Traimit, home to the 5.5 tonne Golden Buddha is in the area as well as a splendid flower market.
