The Challenge Phangan

For those of you who are feeling energetic and are looking for the next adrenaline rush, this legendary course on water may fit the bill. Located on Laem Son Lake near Srithanu Village, it's a 15 minunte drive from Thongsala on the west side of the island. Take a refreshing dip in the nice warm lake before embarking upon the adventure course of your life! Like on the Total Wipeout TV show, you hurl yourself around a series of floating obstacles, trying not to fall off. If you’re the competitive type, you can go for a timed lap to see if you can get on the Phangan Wipeout Leaderboard. There are many obstacles on the course including a rope swing, stepping stones, monkey bars, rolling barrels, a 4m inflatable climbing wall, a slide and the infamous big red balls. If you like maximum air, you can see how your can fly by getting launched off The Blob! The Lake also has a popular bar and restaurant with a happy hour from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. It also serves decent food at reasonable prices. It’s a great fun day out and at 500B per person per day, it’s excellent value! You can book via their website or just turn up.
