Boat Trips

If you want to explore the coast of Pha Ngan and see the tiny islands just off the coast, or explore some inaccessible beaches, such as Bottle Beach and Haad Sadet; or you want to take a trip to Ang Thong National Marine Park; or just weigh anchor and do a spot of fishing, you will need to charter a boat or take one of the organised boat tours. Orion Tours organises very popular tours to the Ang Thong archipelago, with a pickup from your resort at around 9:00am and returning at 5:30pm. Prices range from 1800B - 2000B, depending on whether you also wish to do a bit of kayaking. A fun social day trip. As with most snorkelling tours, you're probably not going to get the best snorkelling equipment going. If you want to ensure this, take your own. Tel: +66 810830968 Hire a Boatman with a taxi-boat to take you to all the secluded beaches and snorkelling spots, such as Bottle Beach, Haad Sadet, Ko Ma, Ko Tae and Thong Nai Pan. You can find boatmen moored up at most beaches, piers and chicken corner in Haad Rin. Prices vary depending on how far you want to go, how long you want to stay, season, etc. They are friendly so just chat and agree on the details and price. You will need your own snorkelling gear, but the advantage of doing this is you can avoid the crowds and do your own thing. Phangan Funny Tour offers day and night fishing trips, and the 1200B fee includes fishing tackle and food and drink. They depart from Baan Tai pier at 11:00am, returning at 4:30pm while the night fishing trips depart at 6:00pm returning at midnight. Tel: +66 77445905
