Kiteboarding

There is a great spot near Kampot for kiteboarding and the wind often has the right conditions. It's a superb place for beginners because there is about a 2km square area of sea that is only just above knee deep, with minimal waves. There is also likely to be no other kiteboarders around meaning you have the spot to yourself. Frank based as Villa Vedici offers Kiteboarding lessons but you will need to contact him a couple of days advance to see if conditions are right. Remember to bring sunscreen as there is no shade in the area. Prices are $80 with a lesson.
