The Secret Hot Springs

Most people head to the Tha Pai Hot Springs as they are easily accessible. The Sai Ngam springs have nicer scenery, are cheaper and are far less frequented due to the rough road getting here. The off the beaten path location has given them the name of ‘The Secret Hot Springs’, although they are not exactly a secret. If you are reasonably confident on a motorbike and prepared for the bumpy ride, then it's definitely worth the effort to come here rather than Tha Pai Hot Springs. Entry: 20B + 20B for a motorbike Open: 7:00am - 6:00pm Getting Here: Head north out of Pai along the main road (1095) towards Mae Hong Son for 11km. It’s a nice scenic road, and you will cross two concrete bridges along the way, about a kilometre after the second bridge you will see a blue sign on your left for the springs. Just after the sign, turn right, and it’s a 3km bumpy ride down to the springs.
